Cooking Grease Blend with or without Sudan Red Dye Data Sheet


Cooking Grease is collected from a minimum of 6 households and combined. The grease is then blended together and heated to the smoke point to color and "age" it. Large particles are removed. It is then weighed out and packaged (100g) per air tight jar and flushed with nitrogen. If remainder is saved, it should be flushed with nitrogen to prevent auto oxidation and rancidity.
